Equipment service and Calibration
The need of equipment calibration is to improve and maintain the quality of tests by ensuring measurements accuracy.
We have a team of trained competent and certified Engineers and Technicians under the section of Health Care Technical Services (HCTS) of the NPHL who offers the following services;
- Equipment Services
- Management and Calibration of auxiliary equipment.
One of the criteria for any medical laboratories to be recruited in accreditation process or maintain accreditation specifically the quality management system (QMS), is to make sure that; all robust equipment are properly installed, maintained and calibrated.
Calibration services are guided by international standard, that is for any vendor to be allowed to offer the calibration services should be accredited under ISO 17025 General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.
